ABOUT LAURA DUKES

I am a Senior Associate Solicitor for Browne Jacobson LLP based in the Manchester office and specialising in Employment Law in the Healthcare. In particular, I work closely with NHS Ambulance Services, NHS University Hospital Trusts, and private sector healthcare providers, to advise on Employment Tribunal claims and complex employee grievances. Since qualification in 2019, I have worked with businesses and organisations on a wide range of issues including defending employment tribunal claims, TUPE, redundancies, contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, casual worker agreements, settlement agreements, policies and procedures, supporting them through difficult procedures such as grievances, disciplinary, and capability procedures. Working with a wide variety of corporate and public sector clients across the UK and beyond is both rewarding, because you see an organisation grow and flourish through its employees, and interesting since no query or legal case is the same.
