The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority repurposes broken real estate to strengthen Greater Cincinnati communities home by home and block by block to increase homeownership, surround neighborhoods with revitalized business districts, and make forgotten industrial sites attractive again for manufacturers with high-paying jobs. The organization’s unique structure, public finance tools, and expertise in tackling challenging real estate projects allow it to take on complex projects with a focus on increasing homeownership and job retention and creation. The Port’s work is guided by its north star of equitable development, creating generational wealth through real estate. The Port manages two mission-aligned entities – the Hamilton County Landbank and the Homesteading and Urban Redevelopment Corporation (HURC).
