   Founded in 2016, our organization recovers surplus food and delivers it to agencies that feed hungry people. Doing this addresses two problems. First, which reduces the amount of organic material entering the waste stream, minimizing greenhouse gases that enter our atmosphere; secondly, it provides nutrition to hungry people. As the co-founder and president, I lead the board of directors, which drive sub-committees that drive outcomes in partnerships, Human Resources, technology, marketing, government relations, finance, and volunteer coordination. I leverage my skills in human-centered design and public service to lead our organization. We are approaching 4 million pounds of food recovered and are just getting started.
