ABOUT LANA RUBINO
I am currently employed as a Senior Manager at Embark Consulting in their Financial Advisory Services practice working in various lines of work such as technical accounting and accounting standard and software Implementations (i.e. ASC 842, Trullion, LeaseQuery, etc.) as well as other system implementations such as Workiva. I provide various accounting-related services to meet the needs of CFOs at companies within various markets across the U.S. Prior to consulting for Embark, I started my career out of graduate school at KPMG LLP in Phoenix, AZ. I worked in the Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk practice for about 4 years and also served a few months in KPMG\'s project management practice. Prior to starting my career, I graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in December 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and in December 2016 with a Master of Accountancy. During my time as a student at W.P. Carey, I was the President of Arizona State University’s Beta Tau Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, an Honors Organization for financial information students and professionals. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in AZ as of 11/20/2019 (under my maiden name Lana Powers).
