ABOUT CHRISTOPHER J. LAIRD
I am a recently retired Procter & Gamble executive with almost 30 years of global Brand Management and leadership experience. I have led, with P&L responsibility, dozens of unique businesses in diverse contexts and markets – From turnarounds to whitespace launches to acquisitions, from sustaining to disruptive innovation, from Braun razors to Tide detergent, in developed and developing countries. I have led high performing teams of 100+ in Singapore, Kobe, Toronto, and Cincinnati. Based on my various experiences at the world’s leading CPG company, I have specialized skills in leading global innovation, building digital paths-to-purchase, and environmental sustainability. I recently completed a Fellowship in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University. I currently hold teaching positions at Xavier University and the University of Toronto. I formally mentor business students in U of T’s Flexible Internship and LEADS programs as well as Harvard’s Innovation Lab.
