ABOUT LYDIA POWELL
I am purpose-driven and people-centred, with expertise in project management, impact measurement, research and communications in the NGO sector. I am passionate about education and child-protection work, and have a wide range of experience using participatory research methods to design impactful programmes. I am currently working as Research, Evidence and Evaluation Advisor at Street Child; we work in emergency contexts to ensure every child is safe, in school and learning. I am an inclusive, positive and motivational leader, who is naturally organised, self-driven and solutions-focused. I have a deep commitment and interest in the role that leadership and organisational culture play in impacting staff wellbeing and bringing the best out of each person. I have an Masters degree in International Development and an undergraduate degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, both from the University of Cambridge.
