ABOUT KYA KONG
Art Director | Designer | Sustainability Educator | Social Innovator | Amateur IllustratorBorn, nurtured, and educated across Malaysia and Aotearoa New Zealand, I\'m currently establishing my roots in the land of Aotearoa. My creative journey spans two halves: The first was shaped by leading creative agencies across Malaysia and China — Leo Burnett, Fred & Farid, BBH, and TBWA\\. These experiences and the people who valued me formed the foundation of my creative identity. The second half emerged through my research in Social Innovation Design, where my work now responds to nature\'s well-being and epistemic justice. I practice co-design with nature, sustainability strategy thinking, and systems thinking to tackle cultural and environmental justice issues. My creative process naturally integrates societal, cultural, and environmental influences. I\'m passionate about collaborative design strategy and campaign development, with a focus on sustainability justice.Client collaborations span diverse industries: McDonald\'s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Hewlett-Packard, Burberry, Alibaba Taobao, OPPO, Alpenliebe, Nestlé, Cadillac, Mini Cooper, Michelin—and counting. Let\'s connect for coffee! I\'d love to hear about your ambitions and explore how we can make our world better together. Check out my mahi at https://kyakong.com/
