As a Policy Advisor for AWHA, I contribute to strategic, evidence-based health policy and advocacy aimed at embedding gender equity in preventive health. My work supports the AWHA\'s advocacy efforts and development of resources under the Women\'s Health Hub, which aims to support implementation of the National Preventive Health Strategy 20••••30 (NPHS) with agender equity evidence base. This involves the development of accessible, high-impact policy content and practical tools tailored to health professionals, prevention partners, and policymakers.Key responsibilities and achievements:• Co-developing and reviewing national-level policy briefs linking gender, prevention, and health equity• Applying an intersectional gender lens to public health issues such as sexual and reproductive health, chronic disease, gender-based violence prevention, and strengthening the research and evidence-base for gender equity and gender-responsive healthcare• Contributing to the development and peer review of e-learning modules on gender-responsive health• Collaborating with national gender and health experts to advocate for systemic change in the public health sector
