Responsible for the Professional Development of self and Retail Asset Protection Specialists through successful on-boarding, training, and coaching. Responsible for driving recognition and engagement of Asset Protection Specialists and Target Security Specialists. • Diagnose root cause and develop partnerships to minimize loss.• Effectively investigate internal and external that limit liability while reducing the overall impact to the company\'s bottom line. • Participate in shortage control and physical inventory process and reconciliation and take a leadership role in other inventory-theft issues.• Recover stolen merchandise and apprehend shoplifters and other people who commit any criminal act.• Partner, initiate, develop and maintain an effective Shortage Awareness Program in the store• Coach, train, and mentor staff to meet or exceed established productivity standards and goals. • Responds to alarm calls, interview internal and external subjects in order to resolve all issues causing loss.• Challenges and inspires employees to achieve business results.• Collaborate with leadership and build relationships to identify solutions to mitigate shrink, theft, fraud and create safe and secure work environments.• Create actions plans for Loss Prevention and operational performance that impacts shortage control, and actively works with the store team in the development and implementation of action plans to improve performance.• Provides high quality service for internal and external customers; commits to meet customer expectations.• Influences stores’ operations leadership to continuously enhance performance of shrink and safety.• Recruits, hires, trains, and APS/TSS Associates within the assigned stores• Ensures the proper operation and repairs of alarm, EAS, covert Cameras and CCTV equipment\'s.• Demonstrates courageous leadership by identifying and communicating potential ethical or safety issues that must be addressed at a higher level.
