As the Senior Marine Superintendent, I am responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operations of the company’s seagoing fleet, currently overseeing LNG carriers, chemical tankers, and product tankers. I ensure that all vessels under my charge meet the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance.My role involves leading shipboard support, driving regulatory and vetting compliance—including the implementation of OCIMF’s enhanced SIRE 2.0 inspection program—and coordinating cross-functional efforts between ship and shore.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily marine operations for LNG, chemical, and product tankers, ensuring vessel readiness and optimal performance.Lead the fleet-wide SIRE 2.0 compliance strategy and inspection preparedness.Conduct vessel visits, navigational audits, and onboard assessments to support Masters and Officers.Maintain high standards of compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, TMSA, and PSC requirements.Serve as the operational link between seagoing staff, shore teams, and external stakeholders (charterers, inspectors, class societies).Drive safety leadership and incident prevention through onboard engagement and follow-up.Support emergency response planning and incident investigations.
