ABOUT KRIS SCHINKE
I am a focused and goal-oriented business professional with a passion for inspiring and coaching others. I have extensive executive experience in retail, financial services and not-for-profit. I am a huge believer in corporate culture and how this influences Organizational Design, Business Growth, Communication and Employee Morale. I believe coaching offers the insights and guidance to help others achieve their potential, with confidence and purpose. I also love to promote business mentoring and believe we can all learn from each other. I believ everyone has potential, with confidence and purpose. As long as we are willing to take action. I work with X5 Management as Vice President - Integration, and also as a Small Business and Leadership Coach, Everything DiSC Facilitator (see Feature below) and an accredited Five Behaviors Trainer. We offer virtual and in-person tailored training programs for any business, ranging from Customer Service, Sales Growth, Team Building, Leadership Development, and more. I love giving back to the community and have been an avid volunteer for many years. I volunteer as a business mentor and connector with ERIEC (Edmonton Regional Immigrant Employment Council), working with professional newcomers for job placement and career advancement. I have also devoted many hours to the Alberta Aviation Museum supporting change management, special events and sustainability. I have my Distinguished Toastmaster designation from Toastmasters International; an advanced public speaking certificate. I have also completed a number of studies involving Diversity and Inclusion, including Inclusion at Work, Business Economics through Norquest College. I hold an MBA from Athabasca University and published a book, According to Wolfgang, My Business. The book is a business reference book based on my entrepreneurial father’s successful equestrian business. You do not need to like horses to appreciate the advice! I love to network, both in my professional and personal life. This allows me to share ideas, learn about available opportunities and give or gain knowledge. I am a member of WXN (Women\'s Executive Network), Canada\'s #1 and only national organization that meaningfully propels and celebrates the advancement of women. I am also a member of the International Association of Coaching, a professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and standards of coaching.
