ABOUT KONRAD JUSZKIEWICZ

I am a public health specialist and project manager with expertise in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. I am knowledgeable in health education within international communities and the implementation of health administration and health projects. My skills include grant application and fundraising, development, assessment of health policies and guidelines, and supervisory roles involving staff development and training. I am experienced in budget design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects, quality assurance, and personnel performance assessment. My background encompasses policy and planning, intervention for infectious diseases, and the implementation of Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course (DOTS). I have a special interest in sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), and maternal and child healthcare. I am fluent in English, Russian, and Polish. With 30 years of leadership experience in medicine, global health security, public health, and infectious diseases, I am an experienced project manager and team leader. I have over 20 years of experience planning, managing, and implementing international public health projects in the USA, Poland, and developing countries in collaboration with USAID, the World Bank, and other international donors. I am proficient in the rules, regulations, and policies related to international development and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). I have a proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing complex projects with strategic and national/international significance. My capabilities include project and program scheduling, strategic planning, and analysis. I possess strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, and I excel at fostering international relations and cooperation between key stakeholders. Additionally, I am experienced in operating in challenging conflict environments. My areas of expertise include One Health, Global Health Security, TB and HIV/AIDS health education, infectious diseases, health management, administration, grant application, and fundraising. I have experience in epidemiology, data analysis, and data management, and I specialize in program monitoring and evaluation.
