ABOUT KELLY BAEZ
I help healthcare teams stay steady under pressure. My work focuses on the science of resilience, nervous system regulation, and emotional sustainability for high-stress professions, with a particular focus on nursing and hospital teams. Healthcare professionals face enormous cognitive and emotional demands. When those demands accumulate without the right support, the result is burnout, turnover, and compassion fatigue. My programs teach practical, science-based strategies that help clinicians stabilize their nervous systems, recover more effectively from stress, and remain connected to the work they care about. My work with hospitals typically includes: • Continuing education workshops on nervous system resilience • Training on emotional regulation and cognitive load management • Critical incident support following traumatic events • Education on sustainable performance in high-stress environments My approach integrates research from neurobiology, trauma recovery, resilience science, and behavioral psychology and translates it into practical tools clinicians can use immediately. Before focusing on education and training, I spent over two decades working as a trauma therapist. I continue to maintain a small private practice where I provide trauma counseling, and I am a Certified First Responder Counselor. That clinical background informs the work I now do with organizations: helping professionals understand how stress impacts the brain and body—and how to work with the nervous system rather than against it. My goal is simple: help the people who take care of everyone else stay healthy enough to keep doing the work that matters.
