ABOUT KLAAS VERRIPS
Klaas Verrips is an international tax partner in the Amsterdam Office. He joined PwC on March 1, 1989. His area of expertise includes planning for utilization of EU direct tax measures such as the EU Parent/Subsidiary directive, global business alignment structuring, the establishment and maintenance of holding, financing, licensing and intangible structures and advance Dutch tax rulings. Klaas did a Tour of Duty in the New York office of PwC from mid 1995 – early 1998. During this Tour of Duty he advised US based multinational clients on investments into the Netherlands and on international structures for these clients. Specialties: Klaas heads up the US Tax Group, a group of professionals both in the Netherlands as well as in the US, which gives the US Tax Group a powerful knowledge base to help solve US tax issues and optimize global tax rates of US multinationals investing into Europe and, more specifically, The Netherlands.
