Design and implement cross-functional continuous improvement programs and Safety management systems to promote excellent health and safety standards across the organisation, including injury reduction, staff education, training, environmental excellence, and risk management.• Conduct internal and external auditing, incident investigations, site safety risk profiling, and gap trend and analysis to meet client requirements• Draft policies and procedures aligned with NHVR legislation, providing recommendations to relevant parties for preventive and corrective actions.• Drive continuous improvement processes in line with NHVR with the intention of attaining transport activity excellence• Continuously developing, implementing, assessing and reviewing the current health and safety, environment and quality management plans and strategies, policies, procedures and documentation.• Identifying areas for improvement or focus – prioritize, develop documents, systems and programs, provide training and assist the operation teams in implementation.• Reporting on all safety related metrics, delivery of and interpretation to regulatory agencies and senior management. • Lead the ongoing implementation and continuous improvement of the Total Quality Management Systems, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and controls are in place to manage risk.• Drive the incident & risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, recording, investigation, closing of corrective actions and sharing of learnings within the group• Help support the Continuous Improvement Committee ensuring an effective process for monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance of the Business unit. • Assist the Business units to meet the requirements set out in the Total Quality Management System and their obligation to maintain best practice for ISO accreditation.
