Fuelled by a passion for learning and growth, I pursued a BSc Honours degree in Construction Management, subsequently achieving accreditation as a chartered member of the CIOB.Throughout my career, I\'ve embraced diverse challenges, from steering substantial redevelopment projects to a £60 million Eco build initiative for Marks and Spencer. Each endeavor has not only enriched my professional repertoire but has also reinforced my commitment to driving impactful change and exceeding organisational objectives.I joined East Midlands Railway in January 2013, where I served as an On Train Depot Manager overseeing operations across multiple locations including Nottingham, Lincoln, Boston, and Norwich. In this role, I managed a dedicated team of Managers and frontline staff, fostering a culture of excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.Building upon this foundation, I transitioned within the organisation to leverage my construction industry background, spearheading a team of development managers tasked with driving infrastructure and property initiatives across the EMR network. From minor works to large-scale projects in collaboration with Network Rail, I played a pivotal role in delivering transformative solutions that enhanced both operational capabilities and passenger experiences.Currently, I serve as a Project Planner for Laminar Projects, where I leverage my expertise as a project delivery and programme manager from a multidisciplinary background to assist our clients in delivering world-class projects. I am passionate about fostering collaborative partnerships, championing operational excellence, and engaging in initiatives that propel organisations towards sustained growth and success.
