My workplace history has been predominately with government departments.Ive had amazing employment opportunities that reflected my personal values caring for people and possessing a strong sense of justice for those who are mistreated and vulnerable at the hands of others.Overall Ive worked in what I deem the \'human sector\' where I have supported, guided and implemented specific measures of protection, strategies and procedures with individuals & their families, both personally and professionally given the circumstance at the time. Caring for others and helping in a positive way has been a life long passion of mine, and naturally extended to volunteering with organisations who care for the most vulnerable ie. the homeless of Newcastle/Hunter and for those under the influence of drugs/ alcohol and in need of urgent assistance. One of the best quotes Ive ever heard was by Joyce Meyer when she said,\'Get your mind off yourself and go and help somebody!\'. never a truer word was spoken and this is what feeds my soul and brings me joy.
