ABOUT KIERSTYN FELDLAVY
I’m a Registered Architect specializing in healthcare planning and design, focused on translating complex clinical needs into environments that support patients, care teams, and evolving models of care.My work sits at the intersection of healthcare planning, clinical workflow, and architectural design. I facilitate clinical user group discussions with physicians, nurses, and operational leaders to translate care delivery needs into planning and design decisions. By aligning clinical workflows, operational priorities, and facility design, I help guide projects from early strategy through construction. My experience spans both greenfield hospital development and renovations within active healthcare environments, from critical access hospitals to large urban medical centers. I’ve contributed to a wide range of care environments including ambulatory surgery centers, emergency departments, behavioral health units, operating rooms, laboratories, oncology and infusion spaces, LDRP suites, and pharmacy upgrades supporting USP 797 and USP 800 compliance.I was part of the team delivering the 48X Ambulatory Care and Surgery Center at UC Davis Health, one of the largest and fastest-built outpatient surgical centers in the United States, supporting 14 operating rooms, 59 recovery bays, and 96 exam rooms. My work has also included strategic healthcare master planning and contributing to a prototype hospital template for a national healthcare client, exploring scalable planning approaches that support health systems across multiple markets.I’m driven by the opportunity to create healthcare environments that improve patient experiences, strengthen clinical operations, and support the evolving needs of the communities they serve.CliftonStrengths: Strategic, Input, Command, Activator, Learner
