My technical responsibilities included interpreting and reducing water quality data for submission to the Georgia Environmental Protection Division and analyzing USGS datasets to identify background contamination trends and exceedance correlations. I participated in karst surveys to assess subsidence risks for mining clients and conducted Phase I site assessments, performing QA reviews and coordinating with subject matter experts on Phase II remediation strategy evaluations. These included in-situ chemical oxidation, bioremediation using colloidal activated carbon, natural attenuation methods, and air sparge/soil vapor extraction. I reviewed Corrective Action Plans and related documentation to guide clients through the Georgia Brownfields Program or Hazardous Site Response Act based on applicable Risk Reduction Standards. I also led Manager Safety Discussions with junior staff following field inspections and delivered health and safety presentations during company-wide Community of Practice meetings to reinforce Kleinfelder’s safety culture. On the business development and project management side, I organized and analyzed municipal Capital Improvement Project data to align internal capabilities with upcoming procurement needs. I supported pursuit efforts by shadowing market leads during proposal development, bid strategy, and contract negotiations. I conducted risk reviews for prospective projects and contributed to go/no-go decisions. I tracked project budgets, reviewed billing rates, and analyzed performance metrics to ensure financial compliance. Using Deltek and Agiloft, I managed contracts, calculated Estimate to Complete, and assessed revenue variance. I administered contracts under various pricing structures, including Time & Materials, Cost-Plus, Lump Sum, and Percent Complete, and contributed to both proactive and reactive marketing efforts to strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
