Kevin is currently the lead Partners for the North Texas State and Local Financial Services Tax Practice and has over twenty six years of experience in all aspects of state and local taxation including income, franchise, sales and use, property, escheat and excise taxes. Kevin has extensive experience assisting his clients enhance shareholder earnings through reductions in the effective tax rate. He regularly consults with companies on current developments affecting their state tax liabilities including organizational implementations, transactional support, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, compliance matters, accounting for income taxes, FIN 48 and audit assistance. Over the last ten years, Kevin has served as the lead state and local tax partner on a number of clients in the investment management, fund-to-fund, private equity, hedge fund, energy, and real estate industries.
