As an Underwriting Associate Leader - Technology, I manage a team of 7 associates across the country. The associates support their underwriter partners in Middle Market Technology by reviewing renewals, endorsements, and various other means of support while building their own underwriting acumen and experience.Recent projects related to my role include- Customized and implemented a technology-specific Underwriting Instruction Form for the Middle Market – Technology group, now actively in use- Reviewed and compiled resources that were then included on a newly-created Middle Market Technology SharePoint site to streamline access to internal references, guidelines, and procedures improving efficiency of work for underwriters and associates- Acting as MM Tech department resource with operations and product regarding specific product lines transitioning to a new rating and document retention system, ensuring efficient procedures are created and a smooth integration takes place.My experience includes multiple years of technology underwriting (including professional liability and cyber coverages) as well as life science, middle market, small commercial, and non-injury claims handling. I have enjoyed working with agents in both the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions. I enjoy giving back to my community both personally and through my career. I have been a corporate team lead for multiple fundraising events including the DDFL Furry Scurry, Alzheimer\'s Association annual walk and corporate fund-raisers.
