My career has been marked by a strong record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve EHS success through continuous improvement. While completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I interned at Ford Motor Company which led to my hiring. After a promotion and move, online education was used to complete a Master’s Degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ford and Visteon, a spinoff company from Ford, helped lay my foundation as an EHS professional. During my career at General Electric, I held multiple senior EHS leadership roles and completed the GE Executive Leadership Training, which expanded my leadership skills and the ability to connect EHS to business success. Spearheading EHS strategies across diverse global fixed facility and field-based business units allowed me to gain knowledge on EHS governance and auditing, EHS Management Systems, digital systems and data driven performance, environmental compliance, creating and leading EHS organizations, and beneficial partnering with senior leaders. Being the Vice President of Safety at Eversource Energy allowed me to transform the safety vision, strategy, and organization into an industry leader by understanding and aligning to key priorities while fostering a culture built around Human & Organizational Performance (HOP). Continuous improvement efforts resulted in significantly reduced Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) incidents by 90%, improved contractor performance, integrated digital solutions, optimized safety engagement, along with successful budget management. I am enthusiastic about collaborating to foster the right culture, develop high-performing teams, and continuously improving to meet evolving demands. EHS success has been achieved by leveraging practical experience with common-sense solutions.
