Responsible for project management and staffing to build professional networks of experts and regional linkages for UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK PACT) team, with a focus on LATAM and Africa Regions.• Supporting the design, procurement, and delivery of £8M in technical assistance across UK PACT funds globally (in English & Spanish); Mobilizing 60 projects in 10 months’ time;• Advising regional/country fund teams on project development and implementation to improve feasibility, potential for impact, and value formoney, including designing “go-to-market” plans and materials alongside region/country teams and FCDO to procure experts/organizations;• Overseeing procurement and contracting of firms/experts to include establishing delivery timelines, negotiating payments, and reviewing duediligence documentation; then facilitating initial onboarding & kick-off meetings between chosen suppliers and government counterparts;• Acting as a liaison with centralized support and regional/country teams for continuous improvement and troubleshooting across project needs;• Providing information sessions for regional/country teams, FCDO, and local government representatives as needed.UK PACT is a complex, multi-country and multi-sector programme, which delivers impact through a combination of grant funding for longer-term capacity-building projects and the rapid mobilisation of short-term expertise for targeted skills and knowledge transfer. The UK PACT programme aims to improve the effectiveness of key institutions (public, private and civil society) in partner countries so that they can deliver accelerated emission reductions and raise the ambition of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) targets.
