Challenged to transition a legacy #1 television newsroom into a digital first media venture in 30th DMA. Accepted P&L and management leadership for a $9 million budget, a newsroom staff of approximately 90, all strategic planning, social, mobile, digital and traditional media integration, training, recruiting and editorial decision-making. Oversaw the expansion of news and lifestyle programming from 6.5 hours per day to more than 11 hours per day, including the addition of local programming on a new second channel WWAX, with minimal additional headcount. Created numerous non-traditional revenue generating news segments and programs. Rebuilt and expanded Eyewitness News investigative brand. Rebranded and retrained weather team to First Alert. Built research-based action plans to contemporize news products. Increased emphasis on digital video resulting in extraordinary growth in video views, consistently landing among the Top Ten Gray stations. Launched streaming channel WFSB+ with more than 15 hours of M-F daily programming. Grew audience and digital revenue with the market\'s #1 news app and website. Garnered station first-ever Murrow Awards for Journalistic Excellence.
