ABOUT KALEB CARTER

I am an Administrative Fellow with Wellstar Health System, currently supporting hospital operations at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center while also serving as the Interim Administrator at Wellstar Roosevelt Warm Springs. My work focuses on strengthening operations, aligning clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring that systems and processes truly support the people they are designed to serve.At the core of my work is a commitment to being an advocate for both patients and the staff who care for them. I believe every patient has untapped health potential, and that outcomes are maximized when organizations create the right conditions for healing, recovery, and dignity. Likewise, I am deeply motivated by supporting frontline teams, removing operational barriers, and ensuring staff have the tools, clarity, and support needed to do their best work.Throughout my fellowship, I have led and supported initiatives across admissions and access optimization, process improvement, regulatory readiness, capital planning, and patient experience. I work closely with senior leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to translate strategy into execution, using data and frontline insight to drive meaningful, sustainable improvement.My passion lies in building well-run healthcare environments where patients feel seen and supported, staff feel empowered, and care teams can focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. As I approach the completion of my fellowship, I am seeking opportunities in hospital or ambulatory operations and process improvement where I can continue advocating for patients and staff while helping organizations reach their full potential.
