Chemical Engineer, graduated in 2010 from NITK Surathkal. I have hands-on experience in efficiently and diplomatically working in projects and process plants that involve operation and maintenance of processing plants in particular and overall project management in general at one of the largest coal washeries of Coal India Ltd. in India.I was responsible for successful initiation of critical startup projects with key responsibilities in obtaining request for proposals, bid evaluation, plant operation, maintenance, procurement, environmental management, existing plant evaluation and scrap surveying. Along with the technical know-how I have very good communication skills with respect to communicating within and outside the company, writing technical reports etc. I have also been an excellent team player with experience in managing midsized to large teams.

   Deep understanding of process control and unit operations.• Worked and executed with satisfaction in a tight team responsible for setting up a new ‘Coal Washery’ on a Build-Operate- Maintain basis, with a prescribed budget of INR 1.70 billion.• Successfully met all deadlines related to use of Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis to evaluate Request for Proposals (RFP) submitted by bidders, preparation of Techno-Economic Feasible Report (TEFR) analyzing the economic viabilities of the project covering all aspects of capital investment (e.g. IRR, pay-back period, annual profit, etc.) and approval of technology, plant layout and machine drawings during the entire duration of the project.• Prepared Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for acquiring Environmental Clearance of coal washeries.• Significant knowledge of plant, machinery and scrap valuation. Successfully evaluated Bhojudih Coal Washery (BCW) and provided technical data for preparation of tender documents for proposed outsourcing. I have also valued over 600T of iron and steel scrap. • Currently I am heading the planning section of Bhojudih coal washery. • Prepared and executed material budget and production plans for Fiscal Years 20••••14 independently for BCW. As a Team Lead of technical scrutiny team I have been praised for successful procurement of revenue items worth Rs. 342 Cr. and 37 capital items for existing plants during the Fiscal Years 20••••14.• Process and negotiate numerous technical bids, proposals and requirements for procurement of capital and revenue needs used in coal washeries.• Familiarity with Fixed Price modeling, coal supply/demand (both domestically and internationally).• Preparation of MoU between SAIL and CIL for Prime Coking Coal.
