Vastly experienced media professional with a career spanning over 20 years in the Television Industry, much of which has been at various programming & production positions in the live & non-live programming genre with specialization in sports programming. Substantial experience in content creation in all genre of programming. Extensive international experience in various capacities, primarily as the Head of Production & Programming, Executive Producer, Producer & Director for a number of premium sports events. It has been a constant endeavor to blend media and technology, search for technology solutions and work with technology partners to enable organizations to adopt solutions which work in an automated broadcasting environment & hence are cost effective both from capital expenditure & manpower resources point of view. In addition to creative and operational duties, commercial functions like contract negotiations and vendor management has been one of the central roles in my job profile that I have been fulfilling in the past. Been involved in the strategy team for launch of number of new international channels in India.
