   Responsible for assessing the impacts of climate change on surface water Responsible for the hydraulic modeling of the Marina del Rey Watershed in Los Angeles CA, for the estimation of annual volumes and sediment discharge from the Oxford Basin to the Harbor. Developed hydrological studies to estimate runoff flows associated with the MdRU C-2, MdRU-C-1P11, and MdR-5 stations. Developed hydraulic model in SWMM to simulate tidal gates operation in the Oxford Basin and estimate total volumes discharged into the Marina del Rey Harbor. Responsible for running runoff models using WMMS 2.0 tool developed by Los Angeles County Flood Control District. Developed a flood model in the Buena Vista Creek – Oceanside, using the software Hec-GeoRAS, to determine the flow associated with a flood polygon reached during a storm event in April 2020. Responsible for calculating the maximum rainfall in 24 hours and 120 hours and estimating the return period for each intensity. Develop a flood risk analysis by comparing the channel’s roughness coefficients of the current condition with the dredged condition. Compared the flood polygon with the FEMA 1/100 yr polygon. Responsible for calculating flow in open channels (MS4) for monitoring stormwater runoff in San Diego County and Orange County. Responsible for developing the hydrological studies and hydraulic modeling, using the software HEC-Ras, EPA SWMM 5.1, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, and Gec-GEORas to calculate flow in open channels, filled pipes, and canals with hydraulic backflow. Assisted in calculating loads and preparing data tables for water quality analysis and final report.
