I am a public policy and strategy specialist with over 20 years\' experience. I work with Chief Executives, Senior Leaders and Boards to lift public entities\' performance and advise Parliamentary Committees in their scrutiny of public spending and performance. I have work in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand across a wide range of social and economic portfolios, including social housing, economic development, justice, international education, early childhood and school education, child wellbeing and poverty reduction, family violence and sexual violence, anti-money laundering/countering financing of terrorism, natural hazards and tourism. I have worked extensively in, and with, a broad range of government departments and sectors in Policy Director and Senior Policy Manager roles. As a contractor I was frequently called on to manage high-profile, time-sensitive, high-risk areas of work where successful delivery required a mix of analytical capability and a strong relational approach. I have spent the past three years in SES 1-equivalent roles at VAGO and OAG. I am dedicated to understanding the role government can play in a just and productive society, with a focus on transparency, accountability, integrity and performance.
