ABOUT KATE BARONE DIMOCK
With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Kate has worked in corporate workplace, senior living, airport retail, restaurant, fitness and recreational, medical office, K-12 & higher education projects across the Southwest. Her ability to pivot from large to small projects in a variety of sectors paired with innovative thinking, creative problem solving, and strong relationship skills makes her a versatile designer and natural leader. In addition to her project roles, as a Principal, Kate is also heavily instrumental in the firm\'s business development process in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. She is integrally involved in the daily management of the Commercial studio as well. Kate is passionate about learning and development. She relentlessly seeks opportunities to learn new methods, perspectives, and strategies, pushing past the status quo. She sets high standards for herself and those around her, ensuring that each project is designed and communicated as thoroughly and thoughtfully as possible. She also looks for innovative ways to build business, make connections, and maintain relationships. Her drive and commitment to quality are what set Kate apart.Kate completed a Master of Organizational Learning and Instructional Technology degree in 2016 and has developed specialties beyond the traditional design scope of services. With an interest in human behavior, change management, and organizational learning, she has been instrumental in reimagining the firm\'s workplace programming process to include clear visioning and goal definition to create a smoother design process and more successful final product. She also completed her FitWel Ambassador certification in 2023 to take a more active role in creating spaces that encourage wellbeing.
