I am currently a Director of Chemistry at Eli Lilly, working in Lilly Genetic Medicine. I received my doctorate in philosophy in organic chemistry from Michigan State University in July of 2021. While in graduate school, I focused on the synthesis of heterocycles and their application in the treatment of neurodegeneration. Additionally, I completed the first total synthesis of nortopsentin D.
