About Karen Norman
I have had the joy of living in Carteret, Johnston and Wake counties since 2007. My family relocated from Sacramento, California (although mid-western born!) and the move to North Carolina certainly did not disappoint! In my free time my spouse and I love to travel. Some of our destinations in recent years include Greece, Italy, China, Holland & France. I am a certified scuba diver, HUGE sci-fi & fantasy fiction fan, organic gardener, animal lover (5 cats & a Chihuahua!). In past careers I have worked in the Wake County Public School System, Property Management Services and in high level customer service positions. For many years I served as a general Real Estate Broker for several of the big name Realty groups, but ultimately I opened my own small brokerage which brought great personal reward to my life. During my time in real estate I have earned four Realtor® Designations of distinction: Accredited Buyers Agent or ABR®, Seller Representative Specialist or SRS®, Certified Residential Specialist or CRS®, and Graduate of the Realtor Institute or GRI®. It is my view that advanced optional education is key for serving clients in the best possible capacity. I have always loved working with people and I take great satisfaction in being a problem solver. My career has always been an absolute pleasure and helping clients actualize their goals is a very rewarding experience. I have expertly completed hundreds of successful transactions over the course of my career and it is my personal goal to demonstrate how a true leader operates in the real estate industry. My career has continued to present new and innovative opportunities and I have proudly joined the North Carolina Opendoor Brokerage Team in 2021!
