As a finance professional with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Diego State University, I have cultivated a strong foundation in financial analysis, strategic problem-solving, and effective communication. My journey began with hands-on experiences as an intern in international finance and has since evolved into a thriving career as a Senior Analyst at StepStone Group.At StepStone, I oversee the NAV/Reconciliation Power BI deck, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing investor positions and data. I thrive on optimizing processes, introducing innovative strategies, and fostering clear communication with stakeholders to meet and exceed quarterly milestones. These achievements are built on a foundation of early career experiences, including contributing to infrastructure and client reporting projects, working on investment case studies, and gaining cross-cultural financial insights during an internship in Somaliland.Beyond my professional roles, I am passionate about leadership and collaboration. As VP of Membership for the Finance and Investment Society, I helped position the organization as a standout in the College of Business. My involvement in Delta Sigma Pi allowed me to hone my leadership skills further while giving back to the community through mock interviews and service initiatives.With expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting, combined with a multilingual background in English, Arabic, and French, I bring a unique blend of technical acumen, cultural awareness, and leadership.
