K.A Larson is a collector of feeling. An array of images, objects and distinct narrative combine to create a window through which one can glimpse her impression of life. Believing firmly that the most poignant experiences are often quiet and occurring before our eyes, she seeks to celebrate those deceivingly unremarkable moments which subtly provide meaning and structure to our lives.Her photography evokes a feeling. Capturing frequently unobserved moments, the viewer is invited to the verge of voyeurism. Impressively intimate images impart a narrative that spans four generations, attests to courage over fear and love in the face of loss. Her work has been described as raw, emotional, solitary, ethereal and intimate.Kelsey is currently collecting inspiration and material for a multimedia personal narrative, The House My Father Built.
