Design Assurance, during project all stages• Validate equipment, documentation completeness & compliance with statutory legislation• Safety Justification for Assets, identification of Major Accident Hazards & Safety Critical Elements• Performance Standards developed & refined during the design process.• Engineering safety processes applying methodologies as such hazard analysis, risk assessment.• Develop the safety, rescue & evacuation concept for OFSS against general windfarm set up.• Verify fire protection concepts• Review installation & commissioning procedures on machine and plant safety.• Fabrication yards, review processes & make safety oriented suggestions so that the OSS is safe. • Conduct Audits at Fabrication yard (before load out), after installation, pre-commissioning and take over.• Participate in/run safety related workshops & assure documentation/equipment offshore is in compliance with ‘country-of-operations’ legislation creating a safe & sustainable work context.• Input into the Construction Phase Plan & Emergency Response Plans• Audit program for Asset manufacturer + sub-contractors, selected and qualified against industry best practice, legal & quality requirements, including on effective and documented follow-up actions• CDM Regs 2015 assurance related activities, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor perspective.• H&S support to site H&S & Construction Team by regular meetings, walk-downs & visits.• Assess, documents that either free issued equipment & machinery added to the plant does not provide hazards e.g. avoidance of collision or asset damage; unnecessary machine operator exposure; Site Acceptance Testing requirements under statutory/legislative requirements• Facilitate H&S project meetings with contractors and represent H&S stakeholders• Define & drive incident reporting for OFTO packages, close liaison with stakeholders • Assist with accident and incident investigation affecting the OFTO Offshore Package
