ABOUT JURZAN BURRJA

With over 10 years of experience in civil engineering and construction, I am passionate about developing and delivering innovative solutions for offshore wind projects. As a Fabrication Manager at Ørsted, I lead and supervise the fabrication of advanced foundation components for 84 offshore wind turbines, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. I am motivated by Ørsted\'s vision of creating a world that runs entirely on green energy, and I strive to contribute to this mission with my skills, knowledge, and diverse background.In my current role, I oversee the activities of contractors and sub-contractors, reviewing their documentation, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards. I also coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, suppliers, and authorities. I leverage my skills in civil construction, project engineering, and AutoCAD to plan, execute, and monitor the fabrication process, and to optimize the performance and durability of the offshore foundations. I am proud to be part of a team that delivers high-quality and sustainable solutions for the Sunrise Wind project, one of the largest offshore wind farms in the US.
