Scientists discovered human DNA is made up of 4 codes: A, G, T, and C. Well, my career DNA is made of L, O, V, and E. No other fields except the life sciences space can combine my love of science, manufacturing, and numbers quite nicely.I guess you can say biotech is in my genes. I am a hands-on leader for all things financial, operations, systems, and people. For the last 13 years, whenever I see things are broken, I’ll fix it in the same way I tackle DIY projects – with an assortment of the right tools. Looking for someone with the experience and technical skills for budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, knowing her way around GAAP and the SEC? Needing someone to advise on system implementation, integration, data mining, automation, and operational excellence? Struggling with managing multiple concurrent projects? Just so happens that I thrive on being your go-to person and business partner for all those jobs. In success, there’s no “I’ in that word. In fact, there’s definitely a “you” that plays a big part. When I mentor and develop my team, I aim to understand and uphold their goals and aspirations from day one to day done. By popular opinion, I always cheer the loudest for my team members crossing their proverbial finish line. Who am I outside of work? I love cooking, playing the guitar, training for OCRs and half-marathons, spending quality time with family, and searching for the next lovely hazy IPA. Cheers!
