ABOUT JULIANA ASSOLARI

I entered Mackenzie Law School when I had just turned 18. What does a person at that age know about a career? Very little. Law school was not love at first sight. There were times when I wanted to switch over to a business administration program. So, while at Mackenzie, I decided to look into the business school. In this investigative phase, I came to the conclusion that business school would give me a general and superficial overview of management, which I would need to supplement with an MBA abroad. As this was not an option at that time, I decided to go on to law school and later delve into business. In the third year of my program, I interned at a boutique law firm in the area of restructuring companies going through financial difficulties. It was a great learning experience. I understood what it was to conduct a search for legal solutions, with ethics and observing the current legislation. Advocating for debtors requires an almost total dedication because everything leads to lawsuits for collection and foreclosure, which holds up the company\'s cash flow. This is why it is so important for us to always stay curious and study beyond the legal field. Only in this way can we offer clients the best solutions. Following my plan, I enrolled in the Economics program at FGV which, contrary to what I imagined, made me fall in love with law. I realized that I could unite business and succession law with lessons in microeconomics. Thus, law started to make more sense to me. I gained a multidisciplinary perspective, a comprehensive look at the businesses and the people behind them. After working in boutique law firms, large law firms, and being a partner in another firm, I decided to found LASSORI together with my partner GLAUBER ORTOLAN. Since 2015, I\'ve been writing this new story, told our way. This need to study and expand my repertoire is still present in my routine. From 2017 to 2019, I fulfilled a long-held dream and completed a Master\'s in Business Administration. In 2020, I completed the Governance Officer course for Advisory and Management Boards. And so, I continue to add other disciplinary fields to my repertoire to offer my clients the best legal solutions. My mission as an attorney is to assess situations with an overview and demonstrate to my clients the possible scenarios for resolution, so that they can make the best decisions for their business. That is why, at Lassori, we say that, more than lawyers, we are strategic allies of our clients.
