I will be working with the Climate Change Response team to lead and develop the Council’s strategy and initiatives on responding to climate change, ensuring Council and the City meet the goals outlined in Te Atakura – First to Zero. The purpose of the role is to support the Climate Change Response team with analysis, research and evaluation that informs key aspects of Te Atakura. This includes supporting a suite of strategic and operational projects aimed at adapting to climate change, reducing Wellington’s carbon in the key areas of transport, buildings and waste, and looking at both the systems changes required and behaviour change.
