ABOUT JUERGEN UREN

I am a senior digital content and communications specialist with 26 years’ experience in content design, information architecture, user research, user experience writing, and content strategy. I’m both analytical and creative in approach, with an eye for detail and the bigger picture. I manage smaller web design projects through discover, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages, and perform content, communications, and change management roles in larger digital transformation teams. I have experience in hybrid Agile environments. I research, write, and design plain English web content, and analyse and rewrite legacy content. I publish web content and write style, usability, and accessibility guidelines. I lead content migration projects. I design web information architecture and navigation, faceted search, and content models and matrices for structured content. I identify user scenarios and journeys, and create user personas and user experience prototypes. I research user needs and preferences, and test and specify website functionality and user experience. I develop content and channel strategies, and design web governance and web publishing models. I conduct user acceptance testing. I create user guidance and training materials, and lead change management activity with these.
