ABOUT JUDY JOHN
Judy brings to MLA more than 25 years of law firm and legal recruiting experience. She began her career as a Recruiting Manager in the Boston office of Gaston & Snow, one of Boston’s largest national law firms. For thirteen years Judy held the position of Director of Recruiting at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, a full-service Boston law firm of approximately 400 attorneys. Her primary focus was working directly with the managing partner, department chairs and hiring partners on discrete firm projects. Judy was also responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of the firm’s hiring programs, which included lateral hiring, fall recruiting and summer programs. Following the dissolution of the firm, Judy became a Senior Legal Consultant and top biller at Hoffman Recruiters in Boston, with a focus in confidential, direct placement of practice groups, partners and associate attorneys.
