ABOUT JUAN C. ROS

Most successful business owners don’t struggle with investments - they struggle with complexity.Liquidity events.Ownership transitions.Legacy questions.Philanthropic intent.Multiple advisors pulling in different directions. My role is to bring structure and clarity to those moments.I work with business owners and legacy-minded families when decisions carry multi-generational impact - helping them navigate exit considerations, align financial resources with personal values, and integrate charitable strategy into broader planning architecture. This often involves coordinating across legal, tax, and advisory teams to ensure decisions are intentional rather than reactive.I am a Partner at Forum Financial Management, where I advise clients at the intersection of wealth planning, business transition, and philanthropic strategy. Prior to this role, I held leadership positions in major gift planning with national nonprofit institutions, helping raise millions in current and deferred gifts. That experience continues to shape how I approach planning today - with an emphasis on purpose, legacy, and long-term impact rather than transactional outcomes.I serve on the faculty of the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies, which awards the CSPG designation, and contribute to the editorial board for the monthly publication Planned Giving Today.I serve on the board of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC) and remain active in ProVisors, the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council, Exit Planning Exchange (XPX), Arizona Charitable Gift Planners, Valley Estate Planners. and the Financial Planning Association. I am past president of the Southern California Council of Charitable Gift Planners and the Conejo Valley Estate Planning Council.I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and hold the Accredited Estate Planner® designation and the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving designation. I earned an MBA with an emphasis in Financial Planning from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in State College.CFP Board owns the marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the U.S.
