About Jesse Peterson

Experienced Change Management and Communications team leader with a demonstrated history of working in the Power & Utilities, Management Consulting, Investment Management, and Federal and Defense Contractor industries. Skilled in developing partnership relationships with clients, promoting change using next generation communications tools, creating compelling visual and video content, and successfully implementing and promoting new technology tools to various audiences. I graduated from the McIntire School of Business at the University of Virginia in May 2015 with a Bachelor\'s degree in Commerce: IT and Finance concentrations, Business Analytics track. I was recently laid off from my role at Capital Group in Los Angeles, where I spent 4+ years leading the change management & communications teams across the IO Data team and the cross-functional Capital Data Delivery program. I previously worked as a change management and communications consultant for the IT organization at Accenture Federal Services, where I created change plans and deliverables to deploy Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Mobile Device Management, and more. I still hold the record for writing the most viewed article ever on the Accenture intranet - a satirical \"breakup letter\" to Skype as part of the change plan to deploy Microsoft Teams. I also have extensive experience outside of the corporate space as a writer, pastry chef, recipe developer, and group fitness instructor. I am a passionate environmentalist and am extremely interested in pursuing a career in the alternative energy space.
