DESCRIPTION: Interact on a daily basis with the onsite MSP, Internal Stakeholders and suppliers. Developed key strategic relationships with this group to resolve any issues that arise, perform root cause analysis and establish procedures to eliminate the problem going forward. Ensure that all GSK and governmental procedures and policies are being adhered to. Work on cost reductions through renegotiations of rate markups, reducing the supply base to achieve savings through more opportunities for key high performing suppliers. Continuous improvements through utilizing my market knowledge as well as best practices from SIA and SHRM. Ongoing stake holder management through daily communication and early involvement to guarantee projects are on schedule and all expectations are met and within budget. DELIVERED RESULTS: Established US Rate Card Strategy to begin cost reductions on CWs and AWs after a negotiated period of six to 12 months which will result in an ongoing savings for GSK of 5-18%. Leading the migration of all suppliers and labor at Puerto Rico acquisition. Setting up all new agreements and engaging local suppliers to support GSK’s acquisition of a former Pfizer location. Expand and coordinate GSK’s global sourcing I&D and responsible sourcing to promote and encourage ethical and sustainable sourcing activity, including opportunities with diverse suppliers such as minority and women-owned businesses directly through direct relationships. Developed Domestic Strategy to increase engagement of Diverse Suppliers through introducing diverse suppliers into our existing pool of labor providers, setting specific goals for the existing suppliers to partner with MWBE’s and sourcing through an RFP a diverse supplier to handle our existing Payrolling Program to increase GSK’s diverse spend.
