A good friend once told me that a banker’s job is to deploy capital into the right projects—the ones that generate real wealth for the borrower and strengthen the community. That has stuck with me. Lending is not just about closing deals; it is about making something that lasts.For over 20 years, I have worked across the lending spectrum, from small business financing to middle market commercial real estate. Lately, I have been focused on bigger, more sophisticated transactions, navigating everything from interest rate derivatives to syndicated lending structures. Being based in Jackson, WY, I understand what it takes to finance projects in high-barrier, resort-driven markets—where land is scarce, regulations are strict, and creative problem-solving is the only way forward.Every market has its challenges. Jackson just makes them more interesting.I work best when I am helping clients structure financing that actually works—not just for today, but for the long haul. Some deals are straightforward. Others require more effort, more creativity, and a better understanding of how to align capital with long-term value.
