ABOUT JOSEPH SARKIS
I have been a Professor in Academia for over 35 years. My research is primarily in greening operations. technology and supply chains. I am currently a Professor of Management within Worcester Polytechnic Institute\'s (WPI) School of Business in Worcester, MA, where I also served as the Department Head of Management. I have been delivering courses to graduate and undergraduate students on environmental management and corporate sustainability for over 30 years, and for over 35 years (almost 40) in general Operations and Supply Chain Management.I have served as HUMLOG International Research Fellow at Hanken School of Economics, Finland. Currently, I am the TECLogd Chair de\' Excellence in Circular Economy at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France. In the Fall of 2024 I was a Rachel Carson Visiting Scholar at Chatham University. I have over 600 publications in a wide variety of academic and professional outlets.I am one of the coordinators of the Greening of Industry Network. We are trying to bridge the knowledge on greening between Academia, Industry, Government and NGOs.I blogged at the Organizations and Natural Environment blogsite (http://oneaomonline.blogspot.com/), it is now archived check it out when you have some time to see a bit of thought from that period. I also have a Substack newsletter called \"Sustainable and Circular\" started in October 2023.
