ABOUT JOSE MORAES

As a Master\'s student in Sports Business at New York University, I learn from renowned faculty and industry experts about the latest trends and best practices in the global sports sector. My goal is to leverage my passion and interest in sports to create value and impact in the sports industry, especially in the areas of partnerships, sales, marketing, and community engagement. I have gained valuable experience and skills in these areas through my previous internship at Missoula PaddleHeads, a professional baseball team, where I sold group tickets, parties, and premium hospitality areas, surpassing 165% of my summer sales goal. I also organized and managed community programs that raised over for local organizations, and hired and managed a 12-person team for the Fun Zone. I have honed my problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, as well as my understanding of the sports industry and its social impact, through these experiences. Additionally, I have a strong academic background in business management and finance, which I obtained from my Bachelor\'s degree at Tulane University.
