Having completed a PhD in astrophysics, I took the programming skills I had learnt and transitioned into a Full Stack developer specialising in MSSQL / C#/ Html+Css+JS (plain, legacy and Vue/Angular) and WPF (desktop) development. I am currently working with electoral management systems (electoral roll registrations and elections).I believe a good developer should understand the business they are programming for and should actively take steps to improve their knowledge.I have mentored both junior staff and new recruits and have experience managing people (voluntary sector).I am an advocate for scrum and helped implement and shape the scrum processes at my current work.
