ABOUT JONAS DITTRICH
Packaging is my world and I\'m passionate about this product and its flexibility in various areas, since I\'ve started into the industry in 2004. Since then I\'ve seen different parts of our business from the production site as packaging engineer to internal sales and external sales and finally into EU Key Account Management. Over the time packaging has developed a lot but also me, but one thing stays the same, I\'m still passionate about our product -) In my current role I do manage an European FMCG account and to lead a team of 15 regional Key Account Managers in a Matrix organization and two direct reports. The key challenges in the current business environment are to support my client achieve their goals from a commercial, sustainable but also innovation point of view. Fortunately DS Smith is a great company and they give me all the support I need to do so. I’m very excited about the opportunities in our industry and enjoy developing new solutions, product and services for and with our clients. One of the biggest area is the Display part and how to harmonize, standardize but also automated POS and Display solutions. It’s a very dynamic and challenging area but I do like the spirit you’ll find within this particular business.In my spare time I take care of my two daughters and enjoy seeing the little ones getting bigger and conquering the world with their little steps and enthusiasm for small things. As sport is also very important for me I do get up early in the morning or stay up laterin the evening to run up and down hills around my hometown and I’m proud to say, that I’m a trail runner. I’m looking forward to meeting you outlining how DSS can help you redefine your packaging for a changing world.
