I’ve spent the last decade-plus working at the intersection of engineering, sales, and relationship-driven work—much of it on the road. Travel has taken me to some incredible places and also introduced me to the realities of inconsistent routines, limited food options, and hotel gyms that don’t always support staying active.Over time, navigating those challenges became a personal focus. I’ve learned that business travel doesn’t just test physical habits—it impacts mental clarity, energy, and how we show up day to day. Small, intentional choices around movement, recovery, and mindset can make a meaningful difference when routines are disrupted.Alongside my work in the mining industry, I enjoy sharing ideas and practical observations around staying healthy and resilient while traveling. My perspective comes from experience—not perfection—and from experimenting with what actually holds up during long travel weeks.I believe prioritizing health on the road supports clearer thinking, better performance, and more sustainable careers. When we take care of ourselves, the benefits show up naturally in our work, relationships, and overall quality of life.
